Day 01: Arrive in Uganda
Meet and Greet with our Company Tour Guide / driver. Your Luxury gorilla trekking safari begins here. The Great Trekkers Safaris’ Representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Retire at Imperial Botanical hotel Entebbe. B.B
Day 02: Entebbe – Bwindi impenetrable forest national park
Begin your luxury gorilla trekking safari at 06:30 hrs and proceed west passing by the Equator and marvel at the amazing illustrations by a local guide. Later continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest as you drive through Savannah grasslands seeing banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle with their incredibly long curving horns. You then ascend into the Kigezi highlands, known as the “Switzerland of Africa”, with terraced farming and mountain scenery. Drive through to Bwindi with lunch en-route arriving late in the evening. Day 03: Gorilla Trekking & Batwa community experiences
After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular. The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored. Spend the rest of the afternoon with a Cultural performance experience by the indigenous Batwa tribes. Dinner & Overnight at Silverback Safari lodge Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge. B.L.D
Day 04: Transfer from Bwindi to Kibale National Park
After breakfast we depart the impenetrable forest of Bwindi and head to Kibale forest National Park. After checking in you will go on an evening nature walk at Bigodi swamp. Dinner and Overnight at Primate Lodges Kibale. B.L.D
Day 05: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale
Today the forest opens its doors for a sensational chimp tracking. Kibale Forest is reputable of having the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. Enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rain-forest in search of the wild chimpanzee, red-tailed monkey, black-and-white colobus monkey and many others. Dinner and Overnight at Primate Lodges. Day 06: Kibale, back to Kampala
Have early morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and we transfer to back to Entebbe making a a few stop over en route for lunch and photo experience. Drop off at your place of residence or at Entebbe International airport. B.L
