This safari takes you to Uganda’s premium national parks, Bwindi impenetrable forest home to the mountain gorillas and pygmies as well as Queen Elizabeth National Park famous for tree- climbing lions, elephants, buffalos do a boat cruise along Kazinga Channel and track the Chimps too !
Day date schedules
Day 1: Arrival –Transfer to your hotel
Meet and greet at Entebbe international airport and our guide will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. After checking in, our guide will brief you about your gorilla adventure safari and later retire for Overnight at Pineapple Guest House. B.B
Day 2: Kampala- Bwindi Impenetrable
Early morning departure 6:00hrs with stopovers at the Equator for photographic experience. Lunch in Mbarara arriving late in the evening. Check in the hotel and relax for gorilla trekking experience the following day. Dinner and Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp. B.L.D
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking & Batwa community walk
In the morning, our guide will walk to the briefing point. Rally behind the ranger as he briefs you about the dos and don’ts while you meet with the Mountain gorillas. Enter the forest with the armed rangers and when you meet the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest. In the evening,you will enjoy the Batwa Trail, a firsthand introduction to one of the most unique cultures worldwide. The Batwa pygmies are a forest people displaced from the rain forest they shared with mountain gorillas. This experience will give you the opportunity to learn more about their age old culture while you enjoy a hike with the Batwa guides, see how they lived and hunted, hear ancient legends and learn about medical plants. The revenue generated from these activities directly benefits the Batwa to strengthen their community. Dinner and Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp. B.L.D
Day 4: Bwindi –Queen Elizabeth national park (5hrs)
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its big game – elephants, tree-climbing lions and leopards which are the main attractions – and for its great scenery beauty. Through Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth you will have a chance to see the famous tree-climbing lions. Arrive at the lodge in the afternoon, check in your lodge and in the evening, enjoy an evening game. Dinner and Overnight at Park View Safari lodge. B.L.D
Day 5: Game and Boat Cruise – Queen Elizabeth
Depart after your morning breakfast for a game at Queen Elizabeth National Park. The Park’s diverse Eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. The park is a home to lion, leopard, and giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephants, de fassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, Topi and bush buck. Then later proceed for an afternoon boat-cruise that offers an excellent platform for photography and game viewing. The birdlife is colorful and abundant. Return to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight at Park View Safari lodge. B.L.D
Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura
Have early morning breakfast and prepare to drive to Kyambura for chimpanzee tracking. Arrival at the point of briefing where you get some guide lines from the park ranger / guide before you start the trek down the gorge. While on this walk to meet the primates you will sight other animal species like monkeys, baboons and later meet the Chimps. Spend one hour with them, take photos and later return from the forest. We drive back to the lodge in time for lunch and spend the rest of afternoon appreciating the scenic view of this park. Later in the evening we head for a guided community nature walk to the twin lakes, returning in time for dinner and Over night at Park View Safari lodge
Day 7: Transfer back to Entebbe
Have morning breakfast, check out of lodge and we transfer to Kampala the main capital city of Uganda making stop over en route for lunch and later proceed to the city for shopping. Depending on your flight schedule our driver will take you to the airport in time for your flight back home. Exchange of hugs and say bye to the Pearl of Africa Uganda after this memorable adventure.
